So please, this is one of the films to see this year. ![]() Even if it were just a "movie about Facebook", why is such subject matter off-limits? Things that have become a large part of our culture shouldn't be reflected in our art? Or, is it because of that? That technology is such a scary thing and needs to be dismissed? The indisputable fact is that everything that's going on with social networking and the world of the Internet is incorporated into the ideas of a certain corner of history, this one, which will be remembered as such, and "The Social Network" may very well be remembered as a film to define that era. The outstanding acting, style and direction, as well as the great script armed to the teeth with sharp dialogue is what people are likely to miss by dismissing it as a mere 'Facebook movie'. The story works as an engaging, fascinating character study at the beginning of the story, Mark is a socially maladjusted reject, and even after several million 'friends' and a few billion dollars later, he remains pretty much the same. ![]() "The Social Network" is filmmaking and storytelling of a high order, that shows the grand irony of a socially inept Harvard student named Mark Zuckerberg who ended up creating one of the largest social phenomena of the twenty-first century (and love Facebook or hate it, it most certainly is that). For months before it came out, it was the laughing stock of people who were off-put by the idea of a "movie about Facebook" (even though it's easy to look and see that it's about the founding of Facebook and the people behind it), just like "Fight Club" is dismissed as a violent film about people fighting, or that "Se7en" is just a serial killer movie. It joins the ranks of his best, and just like many of his his previous works, has been reviled before it was properly understood.

![]() If you're curious what High Runes you can find on The Countess depending on the difficulty you're playing on, check out my lists below. You can use this to your advantage if you are undergeared or leveled and farming her on Hell difficulty. You'll be able to pull her minions out but she'll never actually leave the room herself. ![]() Second, depending on your map layout The Countess may be 'leashed' to her room. The first is that she'll always spawn on the opposite side of the room as you enter on. There are two things worth noting about The Countess. Most people skip all of the trash around The Countess when they do these runs and as much trash as you can skip in The Tower dungeon as a whole.īasically people run through The Tower as fast as possible, kill The Countess, grab the High Runes that she drops and then leave the game immediately to do another run. In fact, on Nightmare she can drop up to 6 Runes (though you'll rarely ever see 3, let along anything more)! Farming her for long enough will allow you to make any of the Runewords that you need for your character.įor this reason, The Countess is one of the most commonly early farmed bosses at the start of each Ladder or for any Single Player who is looking to gear up with some Runewords for Nightmare or Hell. The Countess is one of the most popular early game farms because she drops a Rune almost every single time you kill her. Shuffling Horror spawns with a Cultist Priest. Although coded to only use it if he is alone, it might be possible that it keeps using it every other turn after the summon, dealing heavy stress across the party. Should you decide to eliminate the troublesome Priest, the Shuffling Horror will always summon another monster right away with Echoing Disassembly. Therefore expect the following succession of Bleed-Shuffle-Bleed-Shuffle for this fight. Since both of Lacerate and Undulations have a 1 turn cooldown, he will alternate between each of them every one of his turns. If the Priest is left alive, the Shuffling Horror's attack pattern will remain always the same making it a very predictable enemy. It has 2 moves in a single turn and 3 different attacks. The Shuffling Horror is the first of four bosses that Darkest Dungeon has. What's the point of being good or playing well if you always get the bad players on your team? If that was the case, then good players would always get the bad players in their team, which would lead to them losing more often just because they are good, and that is counterintuitive. Like, what if the matchmaker distributed those ranked players evenly on both teams? Don't you think it would at least make the match more likely to go either way instead of a steamroll? Originally posted by s u p e r g r a m p s:Oh, I'm not saying it's rigged, I just kind of wonder if it could be better, and prevent these sort of one-sided matches. But on the other hand, you get matches where the situation is reversed and you get the good team. That can happen, especially since the matchmaking is completely random. The issue wasn't the ranked players, it was that your entire team just sucked. Most of the non-ranked players of the enemy team were better players than half of their ranked players and both of your ranked players - and, actually, better than most of your team. ![]() Yes, rank 1 players probably know what they are doing, but you can reach rank 10 easily if you invest enough time, even if you are a really bad player.įor example, out of the 7 ranked players of the enemy team in that screenshot, 3 were very bad - just like the 2 ranked players of your team. 90% of the times I've been in these games, these stacked teams just roll the other team. Though the Diablo series has been on the back-burner the past few years, and Activision-Blizzard is under a microscope due to sexual misconduct allegations, Diablo 2: Resurrected seems to be a return to form. It defined the ARPG dungeon-crawler genre, as countless titles released afterward took queues from Diablo 2. Diablo 2 stands out as one of the most pivotal releases in Blizzard's long history.
